Enlighnment's Client Agreements
The following are Enlighnment's expectations for our clients to follow. These competencies will not only allow us to understand each other, but will also allow us accept, learn, and open us to blockages that may be preventing us from reaching our goals.
Ambition
You are choosing to embark on this journey of self discovery with an appetite to unearth your potential and higher purpose. We will identify what your goals and aspirations are.
Consideration
Yes, you are doing this for you, but keep in mind that you are not alone. Be courteous and respectful of not only our time together but as well as other clients and those who support you. These factors could include but are not limited to: time, space and materials.
Humility
Stay humble, stay modest, stay courageous. It takes a lot to acknowledge that you want or need help and its easy to revert to old habits that do not serve your purpose. But, we are all here to succeed together without the judgement of others or ourselves. We all need to start somewhere, some may be a little more ahead of others and that is okay.
Enjoyment
This should be influential and awe-inspiring. Yes, it may be difficult at times, but that is part of the experience of having fun during the evolution of your life and career! Do what you want (without negatively impacting others), romanticize your life, use this opportunity to study and appreciate yourself. There is no right or wrong, only lessons. This time will be blissful, joyful and will be magical.
Mindfulness
Discerning our emotions is the best method and strategy we can implore to keep ourselves in each moment. We need to stay cognizant and observant of where we are and how external factors affect the way we operate. We want to stay proactive rather than reactive, so we do not lose who we are when things may not go our way.
Patience
It is okay that things are not instantaneous. We have been conditioned to receive our desired outcomes with haste and ease. But with all great things, they need time to become what exactly we want them to. We often settle for things that are not exactly what we want, but because its "close enough," we choose to accept it. Things come to us at exactly the right time and what is meant for you, will never pass you by.
Risks
Make misteaks, Get hurt, Rise. We tend to guard ourselves from pain and suffering. By bringing the past into our present and future, we are unconsciously protecting ourselves. But what if the pain and suffering are illusions and instead we prosper, triumph and flourish?
Stay Present
Its easy to get lost in the past and future. But if you're dwelling too much of the past, you're depressed and if you're thinking about the future then you're anxious. Only when we are living in the present are we at peace.
Thoughtfulness
Be intentional with your thoughts. They are your living and breathing ideas. Be specific in what you want. Do not be attached to your expectations and results, as this will cause disappointment. Know what you deserve and allow that to come into your life without resistance. By doing so, you will be amazed.
Transparency
Admit when things when are difficult. Admit when you are wrong. Admit that you need help. Take ownership of your actions and emotions. Its okay to feel: happy, excited, inspired, in love, ecstatic, angry, confused, frustrated, concerned, alone, and abandoned. Everyone deserves to be validated and understood. Your emotions are yours and your actions will always be commended as long as there is positivity and purpose behind them.
